Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and competitive environment where youth can learn and develop the skills necessary to play flag football, while also preparing them for a smooth transition into tackle football. We are committed to creating a culture of respect, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Our league rules and structure will prepare our athletes to excel in tackle football and beyond.
League Structure
The Mile High YFFL will offer 8 vs. 8 competitive flag football. There will be an 8 week season and a multi-round playoff. Organizations will have to sign up as a team(not as individuals).
Age Requirement
This league will serve athletes aged 6-7. Players cannot turn 8 during the season. At the discretion of their organization, 5-year-olds are allowed to participate in the 6-7 teams.
Game Information
Games will begin on 9/2/23 and will take place on Saturdays. It is possible for a few games to take place during the week depending on field availability.

FAQ
How old do kids have to be in order to play in Fall 2023?
Players must be between the ages of 6 and 7 years old in order to participate in the league. At the discretion of their organization, 5-year-olds are allowed to participate in the 6-7 teams. Athletes who become 8 years old during the season, which ends on October 31st, will not be permitted to participate in the league.

Can I sign up as an individual kid or do we have to sign up as a part of a team?
The Mile High YFFL requires teams to register as a team.

How much is registration per team?
The fees for team registration will be announced shortly but will be comparable to other league charges. These fees will cover the costs of operating the field throughout the season.

How many teams will be in the league?
Currently, this league will be accepting registration from at least 8 teams. We might consider opening up a few extra team slots.
